Job summary

KBR is seeking a Test Resource Manager to support the PMA-280 Tomahawk Weapons System Assistant Program Manager for Test and Evaluation at NAS Patuxent River in Lexington Park, MD. The TRM will coordinate test resources, support test planning and execution, and help ensure test events are resourced to meet program timelines, emerging requirements, and key milestones.

Qualifications

  • Current government security clearance and eligibility for access to classified information, up to Top Secret.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least three years of related experience.
  • Experience supporting Test and Evaluation activities and familiarity with test products.
  • Experience supporting NAVAIR aviation programs or related environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to travel and work in office and hangar environments.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage test resources in support of PMA-280 Tomahawk Weapons System program goals, test timelines, and emerging or time-sensitive requirements.
  • Prepare, submit, and maintain test resource plans or equivalent documentation in accordance with customer-established timelines.
  • Support the review and coordination of test products, including test plans, test plan reviews, post-test reports, briefs, white papers, and other required documentation.
  • Assess test execution planning and identify potential risks to schedule, cost, system performance, compliance, and effective test outcomes.
  • Generate and maintain metrics to evaluate test risk, compliance status, resource readiness, and potential impacts to program milestones.
  • Coordinate and support T&E reviews, meetings, and customer engagements as required.
  • Maintain familiarity with applicable T&E tools, compliance methods, databases, instructions, policies, handbooks, and acquisition documentation.
  • Manage Government Furnished Property (GFP) as required in support of test events and program requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with Navy, NAVAIR, PMA-280, and KBR training requirements, including cybersecurity and information assurance training.
  • Work in both office and aircraft hangar settings, adapting to changing program priorities, schedules, and mission needs.

KBR is seeking a Test Resource Manager (TRM) to support the PMA-280 Tomahawk Weapons System Assistant Program Manager for Test and Evaluation (T&E) at NAS Patuxent River in Lexington Park, MD. In this role, the TRM will coordinate test resources, support test planning and execution, and help ensure test events are scheduled and resourced to meet program timelines, emerging requirements, and key milestones. The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of NAVAIR test processes, test products, T&E policies, and acquisition lifecycle documentation, with the ability to assess schedule, cost, compliance, and performance impacts.

Roles And Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications
  • Clearance & Citizenship: Current government security clearance and eligibility for access to classified information, including the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of three years of related experience.
  • Experience: Experience supporting Test and Evaluation activities, including familiarity with test technical products such as test plans, test plan reviews, and post-test reports.
  • Experience: Background supporting NAVAIR aviation programs, aircraft systems, or related acquisition/test environments.
  • Software/Tools: Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite products.
  • Other Requirements: Ability to travel and work in both office and aircraft hangar environments as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the acquisition T&E Handbook, Test Requirements Definition and Concurrence Guidebook, and College of T&E resources.
  • Familiarity with DoD 5000.02, SECNAVINST 5000.2, NAVAIRINST 3905.1, NAVAIRINST 3960.2, NAVAIRINST 3960.4, and NAVAIRINST 4355.19.
  • General knowledge of aircraft hardware, software, test development, and test resource planning.
  • Experience researching, reviewing, and interpreting technical information related to aviation systems, acquisition programs, or test events.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week

Basic Compensation: $83,100 - $125,000. The salary range posted is based on the national average. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
