Job summary

Vicor Corporation in Andover, MA, seeks an Associate Test Engineer to design, build and support ATE hardware and software for analog components. You will work with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to develop procedures and optimize current ATE environments.

0-2 years co-op/internship experience, knowledge of Windows 10 and embedded systems, and programming in C++ and Visual Basic are preferred; familiarity with Oracle/SQL databases and Altium drafting is a plus.

Qualifications

• B.S. Electrical Engineering required.
• 0-2 years of related co-op/internship experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows 10 and embedded operating systems.
• C++ and Visual Basic programming experience.
• Experience with databases (Oracle, SQL or ODBC) a plus.
• ATE and microcontroller programming experience.
• Power electronics testing with analog/digital hardware and drafting tools (Altium) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, building and supporting proprietary Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) hardware and software for analog components.
• Develop test software modules for USTA using C, Visual Basic across various platforms and embedded microcontrollers.
• Analyze and implement off-the-shelf instrumentation (GPIB, VXI, PXI, Serial).
• Provide documentation at all stages of software/hardware development.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering to develop new test procedures.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to optimize existing ATE.
