Job summary

SGS North America Inc. is seeking an Associate Test Engineer to support RF, OTA, and EMC testing in a multi-client electromagnetic laboratory.

You will execute tests, troubleshoot client issues, and provide technical support, requiring strong electromagnetic testing knowledge and project management skills. You will develop automation scripts in Python and MATLAB to optimize test time and data collection, while coordinating with the larger engineering group to refine methods and maintain

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience (with B.S.) or 0-1 years of experience (with M.S.) in Test Engineering.
  • Familiar with electrical test and measurement equipment such as: Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, Power Supplies.
  • Theoretical understanding of RF, Antenna OTA, and EMC test and measurement principles.
  • Understanding of aerospace and defense testing standards including MIL-STD-461 and DO-160.
  • Experience developing automated test stands for various types of hardware.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Organized; comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident (future security clearance may be required).

  • Develop automation scripts (Python, MATLAB) to optimize test time and streamline data collection.
  • Provide active engineering support to clients to assist in troubleshooting failures and analyze data to produce compliance-ready test reports and certificates.
  • Interface regularly with the larger test engineering organization in Torrance, CA to further refine test methodology and measurement techniques.
  • Support the calibration and preventative maintenance schedules for all laboratory assets.

Job Description

General Description: The Associate Test Engineer position is responsible for supporting RF, OTA, and EMC testing at a multi-client electromagnetic laboratory, executing tests, troubleshooting client issues, and providing technical support. The role requires electromagnetic testing knowledge, project management skills, and strong client communication.




  • Starting compensation is based on experience.

  • No H1 Sponsorship.

  • Must already be in Lawton, OK or willing to relocate at own cost.

Compensation

Full-time Compensation: USD 90000 - USD 100000 - yearly


The expected salary for this position is $90,000 to 100,000 per year. This range represents the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, and qualifications.
