Job summary

Rune Technologies in the United States (Seattle area) is seeking an Associate Technical Recruiter to help build our engineering and product teams. This hands-on role focuses on candidate qualification, process management, and delivering a strong candidate experience while working closely with the Head of Talent and hiring managers.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of recruiting experience, strong fundamentals, and the ability to move quickly in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of recruiting experience, ideally within an agency, startup, or other fast-paced recruiting environment.
• Experience recruiting for software engineering, product, or other technical roles strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of recruiting fundamentals and candidate management.
• Ability to conduct effective candidate screens and build sound candidate-assessment judgment.
• Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple searches and candidate processes simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruiting processes across multiple open roles, primarily within engineering, product, and other technical functions.
• Conduct initial candidate screens and assess candidates against role requirements.
• Guide candidates through the recruiting process from first conversation through accepted offer.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to maintain momentum, gather timely feedback, and keep searches on track.
• Develop a strong understanding of Rune’s technical roles, including the skills, backgrounds, and experiences that make candidates successful.
• Deliver a high-quality, responsive, and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
• Support offer strategy, candidate closing, and negotiations alongside the Head of Talent.
• Maintain accurate candidate pipelines and recruiting activity in Ashby or a similar ATS.
• Identify scheduling, process, or pipeline issues and proactively drive them toward resolution.
