QVC Group, Inc. is hiring an Associate Technical Designer in West Chester, PA. This hybrid role requires onsite presence several days weekly with predetermined onsite days across the company. You will support the Technical Design team through the full product development cycle for multiple brands.

The ideal candidate has a fashion design degree and 2–3 years in Technical Design or Patternmaking, with strong skills in garment construction, fit, and specifications. Relocation is not offered.

• Minimum 2-3 years industry experience with in Technical Design or Patternmaking.

Responsibilities

• Support Technical Design team and coordinate style development from concept through fit approval and graded spec release.
• Provide technical support on aesthetic, fit, specs, pattern, and construction methods to improve fit and quality.
• Establish block specs and category/brand standards for fit, construction, and quality.
• Complete technical specification packets with measurements, tolerances, and performance standards and communicate with vendors.

You are required to have technical skills in product development, garment construction and fit. You will provide support to the Technical Design team and focused support for one or more product categories/brands. Categories include woven, knits, sweaters intimates, swim wear and outerwear across multiple brands.**Where You'll Work*** This role is **hybrid** and will require you to be onsite at our **West Chester, PA** location several days per week (onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company). Job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: PA, NJ, or DE. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.**What You'll Do*** ou will support department, as led by Sr. Managers Technical Design, while learning important product areas/brands.* You will provide technical support in collaboration with partners to gain clear direction on matters about aesthetic, fit intent, specs, pattern, construction methods and techniques to improve fit, balance, and overall quality of the garment.* You will help establish pattern blocks to maintain fit consistency for product by establishing the initial block spec.
