Job summary

QVC Group, Inc. in West Chester, PA is seeking an Associate Sourcing Specialist to help bring apparel and accessories from concept through production with a focus on quality, speed, value, and on-time delivery. This hybrid role requires onsite days at Studio Park.

You will collaborate with design, technical design, buying, QA, and supply chain, manage samples and costing in PLM, review cost sheets, and drive on-time delivery while improving sourcing processes.

Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in apparel merchandising, sourcing, product development, or product creation.
  • Experience supporting apparel or accessories development from concept, sampling, and costing through production and delivery.
  • Working knowledge of costing, margin impact, production timelines, and vendor or factory communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and use sound judgment to support business decisions.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with teams such as design, technical design, buying, QA, or supply chain.
  • Comfort working in PLM or other product lifecycle and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support product development and sourcing activities across multiple apparel and accessories categories from initial concept through delivery to the fulfillment center.
  • Manage sample requests, track samples and costing in PLM, and prepare development information for review meetings.
  • Partner with Design, Technical Design, Buying, QA, and Supply Chain to keep calendars on track, resolve issues, and maintain a smooth development process.
  • Review cost sheets, challenge costing where appropriate, and support cost engineering to help achieve margin goals.
  • Communicate daily with overseas offices, agents, and suppliers to monitor progress, maintain calendar milestones, and address production risks early.
  • Track production status, identify delays or issues, and help drive solutions that support on-time delivery and uninterrupted merchandise flow.
  • Support fabric development by building knowledge of fabric quality, garment construction, lead time, and cost implications.
  • Maintain sourcing and vendor data in PLM, support vendor allocation activities, and contribute to reporting such as vendor scorecards, return rates, and star rating analysis.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities that increase speed, accuracy, and efficiency across sourcing and product development workflows.
