Job summary

Magen David Yeshivah in Brooklyn is seeking an Associate Teacher for our Early Childhood division. The role supports the Head Teacher with lessons, uses a range of instructional and assessment strategies, and helps manage the classroom and attendance.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field, are fluent in Hebrew, and may be pursuing a Master’s degree. The school offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, a 403(b) plan with company match, tuition

Responsibilities

• Using a variety of instructional and assessment strategies, as directed by the Teacher, to meet individual students' needs.

• Assisting the Head Teacher with lesson preparation, including collecting materials and setting up equipment.
• Tracking attendance, grading assignments and calculating grades.
• Collaborating with the Head Teacher to identify student's issues.

Qualifications:
