Job summary

Arthrex, Inc. is seeking an Associate Talent Acquisition Specialist for our Pendleton, SC manufacturing facility. The role focuses on staffing non-exempt and exempt positions, building relationships with hiring managers, and educating partners on processes and best practices.

A bachelor’s degree and at least one year of recruiting experience are essential, with ATS experience preferred. Candidates should communicate effectively, manage multiple priorities and be willing to travel for business

The Talent Acquisition team is expanding and has a new opportunity available at our manufacturing facility in Pendleton, SC. The successful Associate Talent Acquisition Specialist candidate will recruit for non-exempt level positions, build relationships with hiring managers and educate partners on the process, procedures, and best practices. Excellent communication skills along with one year or more of recruiting experience and a bachelor’s degree are essential for this position. Experience with ATS required. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the staffing of non-exempt/exempt positions on a timely basis. Reduce recruitment turnaround time to ensure timely placement of candidates for open positions.
  • Develop relationships with hiring managers to determine appropriate job posting requirements and work with them to fill the requisition.
  • Review applications to identify candidates who best meet eligibility requirements. Pre-screens candidates by phone, video and in person as appropriate.
  • Coordinate candidate management activities including scheduling, status updates and documentation.
  • Determine appropriate background/reference criteria and works with Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist to provide all the information to our background check company in a timely manner.
  • Identify, develop and maintain productive relationships with key candidate sources (as necessary) including online searches, external job postings, ads, educational institutions, professional associations and publications, employment agencies and search firms, networks, publications, media professionals, and professional and diversity organizations.
  • Display professionalism, quality service and collaboration with internal members/departments of Arthrex as well as external clients and vendors via electronic and print correspondence, over the telephone and in-person.
  • Consult and support career developmental initiatives for employees.
  • Ensure that all hiring activities follow legal and Company standards. Assist with Arthrex’s Affiantive action plan including tracking applicant data, assisting with compiling appropriate information for hires, departures, promotions and transfers.
  • Able to travel for business needs.
Education/ Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • One year of experience working in the recruiting function required.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruitment is preferred.
Skills
  • Basic level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with ATS required. SuccessFactors is a plus.
  • Basic sourcing skills using various channels like social media and professional networks preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Possess a sense of urgency to understand and meet customer needs.
  • Basic business technical writing skills desired
  • Basic sales/negotiation skills desired
  • Basic communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task within a deadline-oriented environment
Knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of human resources principles, policies, practices, issues, laws and regulations, especially as they pertain to employment activities
