Job summary

Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Draper, Utah, seeks an Associate, Systems Engineering to help design and develop the firm’s computer and data infrastructure. The candidate will implement public and private cloud-based solutions, work across SDLC activities, and leverage Java, UNIX, Python, and MongoDB among other technologies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field with 1 year of experience; or Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience in related role.
• Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting applications, log analysis, and SQL performance tuning.
• Knowledge of cloud-based solutions (AWS, GCP or similar) and SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and development of the firm’s computer and data infrastructure.
• Identify internal hardware needs and implement public and private cloud-based solutions for on-demand scaling.
• Work across datacenter design, networks, storage, and software languages to support applications.
