Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Regulatory Sustainability Reporting Specialist to support monitoring, assessment, and compliance with global sustainability regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., CSRD, SEC Climate Rule) and to drive disclosure practices. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, HR, Manufacturing, and Sustainability teams to implement reporting programs.

The role emphasizes project management, data collection, and documentation, with exposure to SOX

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Sustainability, or related field (required).
• 1–3 years of progressive accounting, finance, and/or sustainability reporting experience.

• Support monitoring, applicability, and impact assessments of global sustainability regulatory reporting requirements to drive compliance.
• Support the primary project manager with development, implementation, and project management of regulated sustainability reporting activities; act as liaison between Finance, Corporate Sustainability, Legal, GMS, HR, and other functions.
• Lead process walkthroughs to support creation of sustainability technical accounting policies and control framework.
• Develop, document, and execute the sustainability disclosure control program; draft sustainability regulatory disclosures; collect data/disclosures from data owners and manage supporting documentation.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Support monitoring, applicability, and impact assessments of global sustainability regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., EU CSRD, ISSB, SEC, California Climate Rule) and disclosure trends to drive compliance.
• Support the primary project manager with development, implementation, and project management of Zoetis’ regulated sustainability reporting activities; act as liaison between Finance, Corporate Sustainability, Legal, GMS (manufacturing), Human Resources, and other functions.
• Lead process walkthroughs to support creation of sustainability technical accounting policies and control framework.
• Develop, document, and execute the sustainability disclosure control program; draft sustainability regulatory disclosures; collect data/disclosures from data owners and manage supporting documentation.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Sustainability, or related field (required).
• 1–3 years of progressive accounting, finance, and/or sustainability reporting experience.

Technical Skills (Required/Preferred):

• Preferred: U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting; corporate governance; internal controls; Sarbanes-Oxley and other statutory requirements.
• Preferred: Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks/regulations/standards (CSRD, EU Taxonomy, SEC Climate Rule, ISSB, TCFD, SASB).
• Strong project management; excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (incl. Teams); Workiva and Power BI preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

• U.S. base salary range: $61,000–$88,000; eligible for short-term incentive compensation.
• Benefits include healthcare/insurance (day one), 401(k) match and profit-sharing, and 4 weeks vacation.
