Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is hiring a Sustainability Compliance Analyst to support global regulatory reporting requirements and disclosure trends. You will work with Finance, Legal, Sustainability, and other functions to ensure timely and accurate reporting under US GAAP and SEC frameworks.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing a sustainability disclosure control program, drafting disclosures, and coordinating data collection from data owners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Sustainability or related field (required).
• 1–3 years of progressive accounting, finance, and/or sustainability reporting experience.

Responsibilities:

• Support monitoring, applicability, and impact assessments of global sustainability regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., EU CSRD, ISSB, SEC, California Climate Rule, etc.) and global disclosure trends to drive sustainability reporting compliance activities.
• Support the primary project manager with development, implementation, and project management of Zoetis’ activities for regulated sustainability reporting; act as a liaison between Finance, Corporate Sustainability, Legal, GMS (manufacturing), Human Resources, and other functions.
• Lead process walkthroughs to support creation of sustainability technical accounting policies and control framework.
• Develop, document, and execute the sustainability disclosure control program; draft sustainability regulatory disclosures, collect data/disclosures from data owners, and manage supporting documentation.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Sustainability or related field (required)
• 1–3 years of progressive accounting, finance, and/or sustainability reporting experience

Technical Skills / Qualifications:

• U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting, corporate governance, internal controls, Sarbanes‑Oxley and other statutory requirements (preferred)
• Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks/regulations/standards including CSRD, EU Taxonomy, SEC Climate Rule, ISSB, TCFD, and SASB (preferred)
• Strong project management; ability to work cross‑functionally
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (including Teams); experience with Workiva and Power BI (preferred)
