Job summary

FastTek Global in Jackson, Michigan is seeking an Associate Supply Operations I to join the Rubber Goods/Productive Apparatus Testing Department. You will perform complex technical tasks and operate testing equipment to support quality checks.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to stand or sit for long periods, and comfort with protective gear and solvents. Forklift certification is a plus and advantageous for accessing equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher required.
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Any scientific or technical field education is a plus.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Duties

• In this position, you will perform a variety of complex (technical/Scientific) tasks for the Rubber Good/Productive Apparatus Testing Department.
• You will be using testing equipment, visual inspections, cleaning and washing protective equipment with solvents and special cleaning compounds.

Skills

• Must be detailed oriented, exceptional organizational and operational skills, solid interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to work while standing, sitting, be able to use a pallet jack.
• Additionally this position requires repetitve bending and reaching.

Education

• High school diploma or higher. working knowledge of Microsoft Suite - Word & Excel.
• Any scientific or technical field education a plus
• Fork lift certified a plus
