Job summary

Mecklenburg County Government seeks an Associate Strategy and Innovation Analyst to support organization-wide evaluations of County programs, services, and operations. This non-exempt role assists in performance measurement and program evaluation while contributing to strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities include analyzing data from surveys, developing program scorecards, and supporting annual review cycles.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of two years' experience in public administration or a related field.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Combination of relevant education and relevant experience accepted: Yes

Responsibilities

  • Participate on team projects, such as the annual Employee Climate Survey and Community Survey, conducting analysis of the data to support the team efforts
  • Work independently and with the Office of Strategy and Innovation team to assist departments with the development and monitoring of program scorecards, based on the Balanced Scorecard framework
  • Work independently and with the Office of Strategy and Innovation team on the annual performance review cycle that consists of conducting analysis of data and contextual information
  • Contribute to the evaluations of various programs and services commonly known as program evaluations
  • Assist the Office of Strategy and Innovation team with other various special projects

Salary range: $57,346 - $71,682

This is a non-exempt position. Pay rates are based on education, skill, experience level and internal equity.

Position Summary

Essential Functions

Minimum Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of two years' experience in public administration or a related field.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.

Licenses and Certifications

May require a valid North Carolina or South Carolina Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
