You’re excited about this opportunity because you will...

In partnership with the General Manager, ensure the store meets or exceeds sales and contest goals. Meet payroll goals based on current trends.

Prioritize, plan, and adjust schedules and daily agendas to meet business goals. Hold the team accountable for achieving these goals. Collaborate with the General Manager to recruit, interview, and select qualified candidates to build a talent pipeline for current and future business needs.

Train and motivate all associates through ongoing programs in sales, customer service, and product knowledge.

Develop associates to assume increased responsibilities.

Assess performance and provide ongoing feedback; complete and deliver performance appraisals and development plans. Ensure the team provides an exceptional customer experience to achieve World Class Service standards.

Maintain a presence on the sales floor and ensure adequate staff coverage in all areas of the store.

Maintain a safe work environment with ongoing safety training and awareness.

Ensure store standards are met and maintained, including visuals, cleanliness, signage, and safety.

Manage store operations in partnership with the General Manager, including inventory levels and cash control to minimize losses.

Ensure the store adheres to company guidelines during opening and closing procedures.

Monitor company assets through accurate inventory procedures.

Ensure associates comply with all company policies and procedures.

Create and maintain an environment where all associates are treated fairly and with dignity and respect, in line with our People First Philosophy.

You have 2-3 years of management experience, preferably in specialty retail.

You have a proven ability to manage staff to meet and exceed sales and payroll goals.

You can identify top talent and are skilled in training, developing, and retaining great people.

You can think through complex issues and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

You possess effective communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

You can motivate and influence others through personal actions and examples.

You are capable of achieving results independently and through teamwork.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.

Ability to operate POS systems.

Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds, using proper equipment and safety techniques.

This role offers a competitive compensation package including pay and benefits. Pay is based on factors such as education, experience, certifications, and location. The anticipated pay range is $30.00 - $33.00 per hour.
