Job Summary

Responsible for product management, underwriting and product implementation functions for assigned products.

Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for profit/losses for assigned products.
• Manages other Product Managers.
• Responsible for managing all aspects of their product for multiple states.
• Designs products that support the business plan of the company.
• Determines product strategy including coverage, risk selection criteria, underwriting policy and positioning.
• Develops rate structure and underwriting guidelines so required profit margins are met.
• Responsible for risk accumulation for catastrophe loss.
• Develops product implementation procedures to ensure an orderly change.
• Ensures that changes are implemented effectively by working with functional managers on proper scheduling.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

• Bachelors degree Bachelors degree required preferably in mathematical or statistical field.
• Advanced industry designation preferred.

Experience Requirements

Progressive experience in insurance product management, state product management, product development, pricing, actuarial, underwriting, regulatory, analytics, or similar business leadership roles.

Demonstrated experience leading teams and developing talent.

Experience working across multiple functions and influencing business outcomes.

Personal Lines product, pricing, filing, or regulatory experience strongly preferred.
