The Department of Environmental and Occupational Health (EOH) and Center for Occupational and Environmental Health (COEH) in the Joe C. Wen School of Population and Public Health is seeking an occupational medicine physician with strong clinical interests to join our faculty as a contract staff physician. The physician will provide clinical care services at the COEH Irvine Occupational and Environmental Medicine Clinic and, if interested, participate in the training of residents in the UCI OEM Residency Program. This position will also hold a Voluntary HS Clinical Faculty Appointment.
The role is based on patient care, paid hourly on an as needed basis, and may require a balance between clinical practice and classroom duties. The successful candidate must have at least three years of prior OEM clinic experience, be board certified in occupational medicine, and be eligible for licensure in the State of California. The position is available for 20–60% time, and additional back‑up support may be required when the primary physician is unavailable.
