This role offers a collaborative learning environment with remote work and onsite appearances approximately 4 times annually in partnership with our Attorney Staff. We are committed to personal growth and excellent customer service, and we proudly provide CLE opportunities throughout the year. If you are passionate about law and enjoy collaborating within a matrixed environment with direct interaction with Claims Partners and insureds, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  2. Develop and present defense strategies independently.
  3. Prepare pleadings, discovery, depositions, petitions, trial briefs, and support defense strategies autonomously.
  4. Collaborate with Claims Partners to achieve optimal results for insureds.
  5. Communicate effectively and timely with clients, courts, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel.
  6. Manage cases efficiently to facilitate prompt dispositions.
  7. Prepare and present witnesses and evidence at trials, hearings, arbitrations, and alternative dispute resolutions.
  8. Research, draft, file, and argue appellate briefs in reviewing courts.
  9. Participate in team huddles and provide in-house training to junior staff and claims partners.
  10. Engage in claims file reviews and continuous legal education to maintain expertise.
Qualifications:
