Job Description
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow Development, particularly in SPM, CSM, Service Portal, and ITSM modules
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations with third-party systems
- Experience in other modules such as ITOM, GRC, or HRSD
- Proficiency in scripting within ServiceNow using JavaScript, Glide APIs, and AngularJS
- Experience implementing ServiceNow integrations with third-party platforms
- Solid understanding of ITIL principles
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience developing and implementing technical solutions, including conducting component integration tests
- Proficiency in configuring ServiceNow using scripting (UI Policies/Actions, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Jelly scripting, AngularJS)
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with users, technical teams, and management, gather requirements, and describe software features and designs
- Mentoring team members to meet client needs and uphold high standards of delivery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Thorough understanding of functional requirements and analyzing client needs within the project context
- Designing overall solutions for both functional and non-functional requirements, selecting appropriate technologies, patterns, and frameworks
- Determining and implementing suitable design methodologies and tools
- Coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities to enable application development
- Leading or supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production rollouts
- Creating and validating Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and effort estimates for modules or tasks, justifying estimates
- Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks, and fostering continuous improvement
- Providing constructive feedback and setting clear expectations for team members
- Assisting in troubleshooting and resolving complex bugs
- Proposing solutions during code or design reviews and justifying decisions
- Carrying out Proofs of Concept (POCs) to validate suggested designs and technologies
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
