Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Regulatory Affairs - Licensing Specialist to support leadership in complex insurance licensing initiatives and drive process improvements. This role requires coordination across TPA, MGA, and reinsurance licensing activities, ensuring adherence to state regulations and industry guidelines.

You will collaborate with Licensing, agency partners, and licensed employees, while maintaining rigorous regulatory documentation and providing clear communication to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, Operations, Legal, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience supporting licensing functions within a regulated industry is required, with preference for insurance or financial services experience.
• At least three years of experience in a customer service role and/or administrative role is required
• Proven familiarity with automation technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor department staff on licensing processes, systems, and work items.
• Manage and coordinate workflows across licensing functions including TPA, MGA, and reinsurance licensing activities.
• Monitor and optimize daily licensing operations for efficiency and adherence to procedures.
• Serve as primary liaison between Licensing team, agency partners, and licensed employees.
• Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information per standards.
• Support licensing processes for individuals and entities with timely, compliant execution.
• Oversee reporting and auditing to ensure licensing records are accurate and compliant.
• Assist with licensing aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including post-close integration.
• Provide clear written and verbal communication to agents and carriers.
• Maintain up-to-date regulatory documentation and align with timelines.
• Contribute to development and implementation of licensing processes to stay compliant.

Responsibilities

This role is part of the Licensing Team within the Regulatory Affairs department and plays a pivotal role in ensuring regulatory compliance while leading organization-wide improvements in licensing processes and operations. Job Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development, enhancement, and implementation of licensing processes to ensure compliance with state regulations and industry guidelines.
• Analyze and resolve complex or non-routine licensing issues, escalating as appropriate.

Requirements
