About the Role

In this position, you will support global reporting and forecasting, ensuring operational teams have clear visibility of volumes to and from all global DC’s throughout all nodes and positions in the Global Supply Chain Transportation network. Parallel work will include working with the total Global Transportation Reporting & Systems teams to migrate current reporting landscape to automated and predictive platforms as we design the network of the future. You will Try Fast, Learn Fast and Thing Big to implement continuous improvement initiatives that will support our logistics and inventory control, as well as order fulfillment operations.

What You'll Do
  • Research any trailer issues such as piece count discrepancies, inbound loads, incorrectly loaded trailers, and late dispatches to support leadership in identifying root cause and future preventative measures
  • Coordinate with multiple departments for non merchandise delivery and pickups thru LTL carriers, parcel carriers and 3rd party vendors
  • Communicate accurate and timely information to business partners in clear, concise, and professional manner thru email, telephone and in person
  • Provide ongoing communication to key stakeholders regarding the status of project objectives and key results
  • Perform daily transportation operational processes in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures with minimal supervision
Who You Are
  • Basic knowledge of parcel transportation carriers, services, processes, and pricing
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and cross train to learn different skills with confidence
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to independently prioritize workload according to the needs of the business
  • Ability to speak with candor to drive business results; excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Learn and apply working knowledge of related work area processes and procedures
