Mercy Hospital Aurora in Missouri is seeking an Associate Sonographer for a PRN role. You will operate ultrasound equipment, ensure patient safety, and deliver high‑quality imaging to support clinical decisions.
The role requires graduation from a school of Sonography or current registration as a sonographer; state licensure may be required. ARDMS/ARRT/CCI credentials or eligibility, plus BLS within 30 days of hire, are preferred.
The Associate Sonographer operates imaging equipment and software, mostly ultrasound equipment, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The Associate Sonographer position also requires a strong commitment to patient care, technical expertise, and collaborative communication with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.
This is a PRN position @ Mercy Aurora.
Days Vary; Hours: 6:30a-7p
Graduate of a school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours OR registered sonographer.
State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.

Obtained ARDMS or ARRT or CCI registry OR Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
In the state of Arkansas, ARDMS-RVT OR CCI-RVS OR ARRT-VS may be required within 12 months of hire and/or transfer depending on scope of role.
