Job summary

Epicor is seeking an Associate Solution Engineer for Manufacturing to support the sales team by applying deep ERP product knowledge to move ERP opportunities forward. You will demo software, document workflows in manufacturing and logistics, act as the technical bridge between customers and product teams, and help run webinars.

• Minimum 1 year of presales experience in ERP.
• Background of success in supporting both direct and channel sales
• Experience in the manufacturing, distribution, or finance industry
• Documented experience of giving customer presentations / demonstrations

Associate Solution Engineer | Manufacturing

The Solution Engineer, Assoc will assist the sales force (direct and channel) by providing in‑depth knowledge of the technical requirements and business use of our products in order to close ERP sales opportunities.

What you will be doing:

• Assist with preparing for and conducting software demonstrations along with Sales team.
• Document processes and provide workflow analysis in manufacturing, distribution, or accounting.
• Act as a technical resource and liaison between the sales force and customer.
• Act as a liaison with the Product Managers to discuss potential product development.
• Assist in conducting customer or prospect webinars.
• 50% travel, domestic

What you will likely bring:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience of presales within the ERP industry or equivalent operational ERP experience
• Background of success in supporting both direct and channel sales
• Experience in the manufacturing, distribution, or finance industry
• Documented experience of giving customer presentations / demonstrations
• Successful candidates may have worked for companies such as: SAP, Microsoft, Infor, Sage, Netsuite or other ERP companies or Value Added Resellers (VARs).
