Job summary

OneEnergy Renewables in Seattle, WA seeks an Associate Project Engineer to join a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team designing utility-scale PV plants. You will develop PV layouts in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, assess terrain with GIS tools, and support cross‑functional engineering and development efforts.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related engineering or technical field.
• 1+ years of experience in professional engineering or construction environment.
• Fundamental knowledge of AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Fundamental knowledge of Pvsyst.
• Ability to interpret USGS, FEMA, and topographic maps.
• Interest in learning cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic field.
• Roll up your sleeves attitude; ability to get the job done.
• Strong attention to detail with integrity and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel; up to ~20% of time; driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop PV layouts in AutoCAD/Civil 3D for development‑phase solar projects.
• Execute drawing templates and generate shape files for PV systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure consistency of preliminary layouts.
• Incorporate utility feedback and study results into project designs.
• Prepare PVsyst energy production reports aligned with design assumptions.
• Work with civil engineers to review early‑stage designs.
• Travel and site access across varying terrains as needed.
