Qualifications

• 1–3 years of software development experience in professional settings.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL, including joins, stored procedures, indexes.
• Working knowledge of C# and .NET Core, including REST APIs.
• Understanding of full-stack data flow from SQL Server to a .NET Core API to React frontend.
• Basic knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and deployment processes.
• Ability to explain personal contributions and outcomes in projects.
• Strong ownership and collaboration with focus on code quality and reliability.
• PHI data privacy awareness in healthcare software development.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deliver features and bug fixes across the full stack, emphasizing SQL Server queries and stored procedures.
• Support backend services and UIs by contributing to .NET Core REST APIs and React applications.
• Write, review, and optimize SQL queries to improve performance, reliability, and data access efficiency.
• Follow established engineering standards for code quality, testing, source control, deployment workflows, and maintainable software development.
• Take ownership of delivered work by monitoring performance, identifying regressions, and addressing slow queries.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions with engineers, product managers, and QA.
• Adhere to data handling and privacy guidelines for healthcare data, using mocked/anonymized data for development.
• Build understanding of products and customers to progressively take greater ownership of tech decisions.
