Job summary

Boeing seeks an Associate Software Engineer to support the ADaPS organization in Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on flight software, test software, and integration for missile and space systems, in a fast-paced agile team environment.

Required are a Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years in software development with Python, C/C++, C#, or Java on Windows or Linux. Onsite work and U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain clearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or higher.
• 1+ years’ experience designing and developing software using Python, C/C++, C# and/or Java.
• 1+ years’ experience with software development on Windows or Linux.
• Experience with product development life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Assists with development and fielding of flight software for seeker systems.
• Assists with design and development of test software for seeker software.
• Assists with development and integration of Weapons Open System Architecture Framework Domains into missile and weapons systems.
• Assists with development firmware and its integration with hardware/software.
• Works in small agile teams composed of diverse engineering skills.
• Develops technical products, plans, documentation, and briefings in support of program requirements.
• Assists with review, analysis and translation of customer requirements into initial design of software products.
• Supports development, documentation and maintenance of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software products.
