Job summary

Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah seeks an Associate, Software Engineering to develop and maintain their software solutions across global businesses.

You’ll design scalable tech, gather requirements, refine user stories, and contribute to testing and deployment across SDLC phases. Qualifications include Master’s or Bachelor’s degrees with 1–2 years of software engineering experience and skills in C++/Java, microservices, Spring/Hibernate, RabbitMQ/Kafka, SQL/NoSQL, and Unix

Qualifications

Master's or Bachelor's in CS/CE/IS with required experience in software engineering.
Experience with full software development lifecycle and production support.
Proficiency in C++ or Java and multi-threaded enterprise apps on Unix.
Knowledge of Spring, Hibernate, RabbitMQ or Kafka, SQL/NoSQL.

Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, support and maintain firm software solutions.
Design scalable technology solutions and participate in SDLC phases.
Gather requirements, refine user stories, test (unit/integration/UAT) and deploy.
Work across teams to implement robust testing and secure deployments.
