Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking an Associate in Software Engineering for Salt Lake City. You will develop, enhance and maintain firm software solutions, participate in the full SDLC, and implement scalable technology leveraging internal and open-source services.

You will gather requirements, refine user stories, perform testing (unit/integration/UAT) and deployment, and collaborate with internal teams to design robust solutions in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 1 year of experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in software engineering.
Experience with C++ or Java and full SDLC including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment.
Experience with micro-services architecture and REST, and databases including SQL/NoSQL.

Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, support and maintain the Firm’s software solutions.
Design scalable technology solutions leveraging internal and open-source services.
Participate in requirements gathering, user story refinement, testing and deployment.
Work across the SDLC to meet internal and regulatory requirements and maintain testing suites.
