Goldman Sachs is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to contribute to a high‑scale risk analytics platform in New York. You will work across diverse technologies to keep the system efficient and accurate, applying Java/Scala/Python, distributed computing, and data visualization tools.

You will collaborate with a global team of engineers and risk managers, tune performance, and help deliver reliable risk outputs for hierarchy and reporting.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3-5 years’ experience in risk technology or financial institutions.
• Experience with credit risk management concepts and regulatory deliverables.
• Strong software development fundamentals and data structures.

Responsabilidades

• Tune performance of risk calculation applications for memory and CPU efficiency.
• Build reporting for risk metrics using SQL and Tableau.
• Develop software across Snowflake, Sybase IQ and distributed Hadoop ecosystems.
• Collaborate with global teams and interact with business users to resolve issues.
• Oversee SDLC activities including design reviews and production migrations.
