Job summary

CoStar Group is seeking an Associate Software Engineer in Arlington, VA to join our engineering team building modern web applications for Homes.com, CoStar.com, Apartments.com, and LoopNet.

You'll collaborate with experienced engineers to write clean code, run automated tests, participate in reviews, and contribute to design discussions, while gaining hands-on experience with React, Vue, Angular, TypeScript, .NET, SQL, AWS, and related tools in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Expected graduation December 2026 – June 2027.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• At least 2 months of internship or co-op experience.
• Ability to discuss prior work with technical details.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Develop automated tests and contribute to design discussions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across brands.
• Gain hands-on experience with modern web and backend tech.
