Job summary

Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. is hiring a Software Engineer in Salt Lake City. You will design and develop scalable applications, collaborating with trading, sales, asset management, and finance teams to drive business insights.

You will work in an embedded/core engineering team, applying your technical know-how in an agile environment, with opportunities to impact multiple businesses and platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Excellent object oriented or functional analysis and design skills.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 1+ years of software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software across diverse platforms, leveraging open source software, databases, cloud solutions and multiple languages.
• Collaborate with business partners across trading, sales, asset management, banking and finance to build scalable applications.
• Work with UI/UX designers, data scientists, cloud engineers and others in an agile environment to deliver impact.
