Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications, services, and APIs in a fast-paced team environment. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

You will contribute to front-end, back-end, or full-stack efforts, participate in code reviews, and work across cloud deployments. A strong foundation in CS/SE and familiarity with AI-enabled tools will help you succeed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, information technology or a related technical field.
Understanding of software development fundamentals: OOP, data structures, algorithms, and design principles.
Experience with at least one modern language such as C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python or similar through coursework, projects or internships.
Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, and modern software development practices.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure or GCP.
Basic understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
Experience using Git or other version control systems.
Interest in AI/ML and emerging technologies with willingness to leverage AI-enabled tools.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

Experience with at least one modern programming language such as C#, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar through coursework, projects, internships, or personal development.
