Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. is seeking an Associate Software Engineer, AI to contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications and AI-enabled capabilities across enterprise systems and digital products.

You will work with software engineers, data professionals, and product teams to implement features, maintain code quality, and apply AI-assisted tools within established engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience in software development, internships, or project-based work.
• Foundational knowledge of OOP, data structures, algorithms and system design.
• Experience with at least one programming language (Python, Java, C#, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with SDLC practices, testing, debugging and version control.
• Basic understanding of APIs, web services, databases, and modern app concepts.
• Foundational cloud knowledge (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts and LLMs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication and teamwork.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and testing of software applications and AI-enabled features.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement features and enhancements.
• Support AI-enabled applications and exposure to ML services and LLMs.
• Work with data/ML engineers to support enterprise applications.
• Follow established engineering standards and practices in AI-assisted development.
• Contribute to code quality, testing, and documentation.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration.
• Assist with CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities.
• Monitor and troubleshoot applications and performance.
