Tombras in Portland, OR is seeking an Associate Social Copywriter to develop social-first ideas with a culture-driven approach.

You'll partner with senior creatives to craft content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and more, maintaining a distinct brand voice while supporting campaigns and pitches. Relocation support may be provided, and the role emphasizes collaboration, ownership of calendar-driven work, and video editing collaboration.

Qualifications

• Advertising copywriter with 2–4 years of agency experience or equivalent.
• Portfolio demonstrating social-first campaigns.
• Strong brand voice and storytelling capabilities.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and basic animation skills.
• Familiarity with major social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Public speaking and confident presentation skills.
• Positive, collaborative team player with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Strategists, Copywriters and Content Creators to develop social-first ideas rooted in culture.
• Contribute to integrated campaigns that connect across social, digital, and brand experiences.
• Write with a distinct brand voice for client work, brainstorms and new business pitches.
• Create work that people genuinely want to watch, share and engage with.
• Concept, write, edit and help produce content across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and emerging social platforms.
• Develop content calendars, social campaigns, reactive content and day-to-day social assets.
• Create content that feels native to each platform while supporting broader brand objectives.
• Edit short-form video and collaborate with production partners to bring larger creative ideas to life.
