Job summary

Tombras, a 600+ person national advertising agency, is seeking an Associate Social Copywriter to join our Portland team. You will craft social-first ideas, bring culture-driven content, and help shape campaigns across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

With relocation assistance potentially available, you’ll collaborate with writers, art directors, strategists, and production partners to develop content calendars, reactive content, and day-to-day social assets that feel native to each

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of ad agency experience, related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong portfolio of social copy work.
• Experience writing for social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn).

Responsibilities

• Partner with Creative Directors and other creatives to develop social-first ideas rooted in culture.
• Contribute to integrated campaigns across social, digital, and brand experiences.
• Write with a distinct brand voice and bring fresh thinking to client work and pitches.
• Create content that people want to watch, share, and engage with.
• Concept, write, edit, and help produce content across platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn).
• Develop content calendars and social campaigns.
• Create platform-native content while supporting broader brand objectives.
• Edit short-form video and collaborate with production partners.
