Job Description

Brookfield is a global asset manager focused on real estate, infrastructure, renewable energy & transition, private equity, and private credit with approximately USD 1 trillion in assets under management.

The Global Clients Group (GCG) manages institutional relationships and raises capital for Brookfield’s various private funds.

The Diligence Management team manages the end-to-end fund due diligence process for Brookfield’s private funds, overseeing all aspects from fund launch to IC approval. The Associate / Senior Associate partners with Client Relationship Managers, Fundraise Management, Investor Relations, Marketing, Product Development, Legal, Compliance, Tax, and other stakeholders to deliver a top-tier diligence experience and drive client conversions.

Brookfield Credit manages about USD 314 billion of assets globally, focusing on private credit strategies including infrastructure, renewable credit, real estate, asset-based, and corporate credit, with varied return profiles. The team collaborates with strategic partners and offers private credit funds and separately managed accounts.

The Associate / Senior Associate plays a key role in managing all aspects of due diligence for private credit funds and accounts, including creating diligence materials, managing deliverables, and coordinating investor interactions. The role involves working closely with investors and internal teams to develop expertise in Brookfield’s private credit platform and serve as a client-facing contact.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and managing due diligence materials such as DDQs, RFPs, RFIs, datasets, and presentations.
  2. Responding to investor diligence requests in collaboration with stakeholder teams.
  3. Coordinating interactions with prospective investors, including calls, meetings, asset tours, and on-site visits.
  4. Working with clients and CRMs to design diligence plans and track activities.
  5. Creating initial diligence materials pre-fund launch, including investor presentations and PPMs.
  6. Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the firm’s credit products, strategies, and operations to ensure accurate content creation.
  7. Utilizing the firm’s tools and resources effectively to respond to client requests.
  8. Demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines across jurisdictions.
  9. Managing client-facing materials and maintaining marketing collateral during fundraising.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business management, marketing, communications, or related field.

Experience:

  • 4-7 years in private credit fund marketing, due diligence, sales, or client services.
  • Knowledge of investment products, private credit strategies, and experience in institutional fund marketing is preferred.
  • Strong project management skills, especially in managing multiple projects across jurisdictions.
  • Experience with high-volume processes and technology solutions.

Key Competencies:

  • Technical knowledge of private credit and funds, understanding of LP needs, and familiarity with various client types.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate across teams.
  • Proficiency with relevant software tools (e.g., Salesforce, Loopio, PowerBI, Mercatus, Seismic) and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong relationship management skills and cultural adaptability.
  • Proactive attitude and self-motivation.

Salary Range: $145k - $165K

Our compensation structure includes a base salary and a short-term incentive (cash bonus). Compensation varies by geography and is competitive, based on experience, education, and industry background.
