Job summary

Introba is seeking an Associate/Senior Architect to join our St. Louis team. This role involves architectural design and construction administration from inception to completion, serving as the primary contact for clients.

You will research, plan, and design building projects while coordinating various project components including site and interiors. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of experience in architectural design.

Job description

Job Summary

Introba is seeking an Associate/Senior Architect to join our St. Louis team. The role involves architectural design and construction administration from inception to completion, acting as Introba’s primary contact for clients.

Responsibilities
  • Research, plan, design, and administer building projects, consulting with clients for functional and spatial requirements.
  • Develop building and site designs, evaluate materials and systems, and present design concepts to clients.
  • Coordinate all project components (site, interiors, structural, MEP/FP), producing drawings, specifications, reports, cost estimates in accordance with quality standards.
  • Prepare and submit submittals, assist with permits and government approvals.
  • Assist with competitive bidding, negotiate proposals, and oversee construction administration as client advocate.
  • Manage project close‑out, including site observation, punch lists, certificates of completion, and record drawings.
  • Support business development by preparing proposals and presenting Introba services to prospective clients.
  • Administer client agreements, review contractual obligations, and arrange staffing for each project phase.
  • Maintain project schedules, monitor milestones, and ensure effective communication among team members.
  • Ensure quality of drawings, specifications, and estimates; mentor workforce for skill development.
  • Coordinate budget monitoring and recommend corrective actions to prevent overruns; notify Project Manager of any change‑order fees.
  • Assist with construction procurement, bidder lists, bid evaluation, and contract preparation.
  • Represent client during construction administration and oversee project close‑out.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in architectural design and construction administration.
  • Professional registration required; NCARB desired.
  • Experience in diversified markets, including government and/or healthcare projects.
  • Exposure to various building types and project delivery methods.
  • Proficient to advanced in Revit 2025.
  • Intermediate to proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Experience developing specifications using MasterSpec format.
  • Proficiency in report writing and design‑analysis narratives.
  • Experience editing PDF documents in Bluebeam (desired).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, OneDrive, Teams) and BIM 360; Enscape or similar 3D modeling software (desired).
  • Experience with federal projects requiring UFGS criteria (desired).
