Job summary

Goldman Sachs Services LLC is seeking an Associate in Security Engineering in Dallas to design and operate data pipelines that ingest, transform, and load large-scale security telemetry into a centralized platform for threat detection and analytics.

You will develop batch and streaming processing workflows, build data models, and implement CI/CD to ensure reliable delivery and observability across on‑prem and AWS environments. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s in cyber security, computer engineering, data science, or related field with required experience.
• Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining data pipelines across on‑prem and cloud environments.
• Experience with Spark, Kafka, Kubernetes, and BigQuery or similar for real‑time and batch processing.
• Automation tooling with Python to support data monitoring and platform workflows.
• ETL and data ingestion pipelines to centralize large-scale event data.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data ingestion/processing pipelines across on‑prem and AWS.
• Build and optimize batch and streaming data workflows for timely security analytics.
• Develop data models, schemas, and data warehouse structures for high‑volume event data.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, building, and deployment of data apps.
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and data science teams to monitor data streams.
