Job summary

Lonza in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a Manufacturing Associate I to help produce life-saving therapeutic proteins in a regulated environment. The role involves 12-hour day shifts on a rotating schedule (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) and requires strong attention to detail and teamwork.

You will perform GMP-driven tasks, support cleaning (CIP/SIP), and contribute to continuous improvement. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with science-based degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; science degree preferred.
• Basic lab tasks and GMP procedures experience.
• Willingness to learn and follow regulated processes.

• Ability to work in a hands-on production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment following GMP procedures.
• Set up and support cleaning processes, including CIP and SIP.
• Perform basic lab tasks such as monitoring pH, conductivity, and testing samples.
• Handle and move materials across production areas safely.
• Complete production and documentation records accurately.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspaces.
• Support team activities, meetings, and continuous improvement efforts.

As a Manufacturing Associate I, you will help produce life-saving therapeutic proteins in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will work as part of a supportive team while building valuable skills in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

This role follows a 12-hour day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on a rotating schedule of alternating days: two on, two off, three on, two off, two on, three off (repeating cycle).
