Associate Scientist- Microbiology Data Review

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing analytical testing services to ensure the safety and authenticity of products across various industries. With over 30 years of growth, Eurofins operates in more than 54 countries with a network of 900 laboratories.

Job Summary: Eurofins Microbiology seeks an Associate Scientist to support data quality by reviewing laboratory data for accuracy, precision, and compliance with GMP and GLP regulations. No prior pharmaceutical experience is required, and there are opportunities for career growth.

This role is not related to coding or data science. We are not seeking candidates with computer science or IT backgrounds for this position.

Responsibilities:

1. Review laboratory data for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with GMP and GLP standards.
2. Assess routine and non-routine data across multiple areas according to SOPs; understand analytical procedures; ensure all work adheres to GLP/GMP requirements.
3. Determine data compliance and defendability based on industry regulations and methodologies.
4. Verify data quality following all applicable methods and client requirements.
5. Identify and resolve simple problems; suggest solutions for complex issues; perform complex calculations.
6. Utilize office and instrument-specific software.
7. Review written reports such as SOPs, OMCs, and client reports.

Shift details: Sunday-Thursday, 8 am - 4 pm. Training occurs on weekdays, 8 am - 4 pm.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in biology, microbiology, or a related field.
• Ability to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Note: This is a full-time, first-shift position based in Lancaster, PA. Candidates should be within commuting distance; no remote work or relocation assistance provided.
