A leading life sciences company is seeking an Associate Scientist I to support the stability program for siRNA therapeutics. The Associate Scientist I will support the stability program for siRNA-based therapeutics by performing analytical testing on drug substances, drug products, intermediates, and critical raw materials. The role involves executing and analyzing stability, forced degradation, and related studies using techniques such as UV spectrophotometry, osmometry, and water content titration. The Associate Scientist will contribute to data collection, trending, and reporting to support regulatory submissions and clinical supply.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analytical testing for stability, photostability, stress, and compatibility studies.
  • Prepare study plans, perform set-downs, and monitor sample testing timelines.
  • Analyze and trend stability data; archive results in compliance with documentation standards.
  • Support preparation of technical reports and regulatory submissions with analytical data.
  • Collaborate across departments and with CMOs to support lifecycle management of stability programs.

Qualifications

  • BS in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or a related field.
  • 1+ years in an analytical lab; QC/GMP experience preferred.
  • Experience with physico-chemical methods for oligonucleotides, oligosaccharides, or proteins preferred.
  • Experience working in a multi-site organization or with contract manufacturers is a plus.
