Role: Associate Scientist in Analytical Development supporting BioNTech's antibody and ADC pipeline, focusing on developing phase-appropriate analytical methods.

• design, develop, and execute chromatography (HPLC/UHPLC), electrophoretic, and other analytical techniques;
• troubleshoot and interpret complex data;
• support technology transfer and method validation;
• prepare technical documentation and deliver scientific presentations;
• collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely data delivery supporting CMC milestones.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years or Master’s with 5+ years in biopharmaceutical analytical development;
• strong hands-on expertise in HPLC/UHPLC, biologics characterization techniques (SEC, RP, icIEF, CE-SDS, ELISA, LC-MS);
• familiarity with method qualification/validation, lifecycle management, and statistical tools;
• effective team collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred

• advanced expertise across analytical platforms;
• experience in biologics characterization;
• knowledge of regulatory standards.
