SALARY RANGE: $65,000 to $80,000 Annually A variety of important factors are reviewed by HR when considering salary, including job duties, the applicant's education and experience, all relevant internal equity considerations, department budget, and funding source.
*Grant funded position Position Summary: Dr. Al-Hebshi's group at the Oral Microbiome Research Laboratory at Temple University (goo.gl/Tj7so2) is seeking an outstanding Associate Scientist to conduct research on the potential interactions between bacteria and oral cancer, including their roles in carcinogenesis, anticancer activity, and immunomodulation. The appointed scientist will have the opportunity to work as part of an interdisciplinary research team and interact with a large network of national and international collaborators. Besides leading the execution of major research projects, the appointed postdoc is expected to help with the laboratory administrative tasks and mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students, and if eligible, to develop and submit own grant applications. Performs other duties as assigned.
PhD in a related discipline and at least 4 years of experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
