Job summary

Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry is seeking an Associate Scientist to conduct research on interactions between bacteria and oral cancer, including carcinogenesis, anticancer activity, and immunomodulation. The appointed scientist will join an interdisciplinary team and may mentor students while developing grant applications.

Requirements include a PhD in a related discipline with at least four years of experience.

Qualifications

• PhD in a related discipline and at least 4 years of experience.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Designing and carrying out laboratory and animal experiments.
• Analysis of data and summarizing results.
• Preparing progress reports and manuscripts for publication.
