Position Summary

As an IMS Associate Sales Representative at STERIS, your responsibility is to increase sales in the assigned territory and Region, including coordinating and executing clinical and service-related activities while supporting the local Sales Team. You will work closely with an Account Manager to grow the Instrument Management Services (IMS) portfolio in the territory.

This is a remote, customer-facing position. Candidates must be based in California, specifically in the East Bay area, to support and service customers in this territory.

What You Will Do

• Originate, promote, and close sales using initiative.
• Take primary responsibility for the assigned sales territory.
• Maintain supportive, quality customer relations by promptly acknowledging customers and demonstrating professional behavior.
• Provide effective customer service within your territory and region.
• Coordinate daily activities with the local Sales Team or Regional Sales Director when working outside the local territory.
• Prepare service history reports, cost savings analyses, and other relevant reports for review on a regular basis.
• Coordinate and conduct preventative maintenance services with customers.
• Update process improvement programs for select customers.
• Manage site visits and workshops for customer attendance and technical staff.
• Handle all billing functions, including submissions, unbilled, and uncollected revenue.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 1 year of sales experience.
• Ability to comply with hospital/customer credentialing requirements.

Pay range is $50,000 - $50,000, with an on-target earnings of $90,000. Compensation may vary based on experience, education, certifications, and other factors. This position is eligible for commission.
