Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking an Associate RF AIT Engineer to execute, integrate, test, and debug flight RF hardware for a fast-paced LEO satellite program. This is a hands-on role focused on build, test, and fix rather than documentation or coordination.

You will work on RF assemblies, antennas, harnesses, RF racks, and GSE, from bench validation through launch operations, partnering with TT&C and GPS leads to ensure performance margins and system readiness.

Qualifications

• Hands-on RF experience across TT&C frequency bands.
• Experience with RF assemblies, coax harness fabrication, and connectors.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and close hardware issues under timelines.
• Comfort in cleanroom, lab, and factory environments.
• Experience supporting AIT, environmental tests, and production.

Responsibilities

• Execute integration and verification testing for flight RF hardware.
• Own hands-on integration of radios, antennas, harnesses and GSE.
• Build, inspect, and rework RF hardware on the manufacturing floor.
• Design and sustain RF racks and test infrastructure.
• Develop RF test automation and data capture processes.
• Support launch operations and post-test troubleshooting.
