Job summary

Acushnet Company is seeking an Associate Research Engineer in Carlsbad, CA to advance golf club performance through engineering and data-driven design. You will apply scientific methods, modeling and testing to explore new technologies and validate concepts for next-generation Titleist products.

Collaborating with researchers, engineers, and product designers, you will leverage simulation and computational tools while contributing to patentable innovations in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Strong foundation in engineering analysis, problem solving and product development.
• Experience with MATLAB and/or Python.
• Exposure to CAD tools such as NX or SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with simulation/FEA concepts; LS-DYNA a plus.
• Programming experience (C#, .NET, WPF, Angular) preferred.
• Passion for golf and understanding of equipment and performance.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
