Job summary

Private Health Management is seeking an Associate Research Director to lead research efforts on complex care cases, reviewing medical records, evaluating diagnostic options, and prioritizing treatment strategies with input from experts worldwide. The role emphasizes patient-centered decision support and collaboration with clinicians.

You will identify clinical trials, summarize literature, and create patient education materials while contributing to a new standard of excellence in precision

Qualifications

• PhD in science or healthcare field required; experience in complex medical disorders (e.g., autoimmune, immunology, virology, chronic illness, infectious disease or rheumatology)
• Well-developed skills to explore medical literature (e.g., PubMed, Google Scholar)
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities to serve as trusted advisor to clients
• Efficient, resourceful, creative, and capable of rapid decision-making in ambiguous situations
• Ability to work well individually and as part of cross-functional teams to deliver client results

Responsibilities

• Participate in client calls with clinicians to communicate latest research findings and support shared decision-making
• Analyze patient medical records, including data extraction and tracking of lab values and outcomes
• Identify, review, and summarize literature across clinical topics and present patient-friendly results
• Identify and interpret molecular diagnostics and laboratory tests to support patient care decisions
• Research, evaluate, and prioritize treatment options based on guidelines and expert input
• Identify and evaluate potential clinical trials and assist in matching clients to trials
• Create patient education documents and reports detailing history, diagnosis, and options
