Job summary

Global X ETFs is seeking an Associate, Research Analyst to support research and content development across commodities, fixed income, and options-based strategies. This generalist role reports to and works directly with the VP, Director of Options & Income Research, contributing to market analysis, investment research, and educational materials supporting the firm’s ETF lineup.

Qualifications

2-5 years of experience in asset management or related research roles.
Interest to cover commodities, fixed income, and options strategies.
Strong writing and presentation skills; ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
Strong analytics, data interpretation, and data visualization.
Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Word; familiarity with Bloomberg a plus.
Progress toward CFA designation preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Conduct fundamental and quantitative research across commodities, fixed income, and options-based strategies to support research priorities.
Monitor market data, economic indicators, and derivatives activity.
Create research articles, market commentary, data visualizations, and presentations for the research library and distribution.
Analyze ETF exposures, drivers, and risk/return tradeoffs in diversified portfolios.
Maintain datasets, verify calculations, and support timely updates of research outputs.
Explain ETF concepts clearly in educational materials for internal teams and clients.
Support client inquiries and collaborate with Product, Distribution, and Marketing on research.
Prepare materials for client meetings and webinars under VP guidance.
