Job summary

Frost Bank in Midland, TX is seeking an Associate Relationship Manager II to deepen client relationships in commercial banking. You will learn through mentoring from successful commercial lenders and manage customer portfolios with a focus on analytical skills and sales experience.

You’ll review loan documentation, understand client needs, and provide solutions with integrity and excellence. The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and a proactive, self‑starter mindset.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience as a financial analyst.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, preferably Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 and at least 6 hours of Accounting coursework.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, self-starter attitude.

Responsibilities

• Review loan documentation prior to closing and address deficiencies.
• Act as primary resource for an ARM I and manage client portfolios.
• Review credit facilities for compliance with bank policy.
• Cultivate client relationships with integrity, care, and excellence.
• Develop understanding of clients' business needs and respond proactively.

Who you are:

As an Associate Relationship Manager II, it’s about creating and fostering long-term relationships. Through interactive training, mentoring from successful commercial lenders, and hands‑on administration of customer portfolios, you will achieve valuable analytical skills, sales experience, and an understanding of Frost’s relationship management process and culture. Our associate relationship managers are adaptable, inquisitive and strive to create and build relationships with our customers, that last a lifetime.

What you’ll do:

• Review loan documentation prior to closing and make appropriate parties aware of deficiencies and/or problems
• Act as the primary resource for an ARM I
• Review credit facilities (e.g., loans, lines of credit, etc.) where appropriate, ensuring compliance with bank policy
• Champion Frost’s philosophy and core values in the work you do by caring for your clients, having a willingness to do more than you’re asked because it’s the right thing to do, and doing so with excellence
• Become familiar with your clients and their business to understand and act on their needs

What you’ll need:

• 1+ years experience as a financial analyst
• Bachelor's degree in Business, preferably Accounting or Finance
• Minimum GPA 3.0
• At least 6 hours of Accounting, or equivalent graduate level Accounting coursework
• Self‑starter
• Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft computer applications

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Undergraduate or graduate course work emphasizing financial statement analysis
• 9+ hours of Accounting, including Intermediate Accounting I, or equivalent graduate level Accounting
