Young Life is seeking an Associate Regional Director to lead and supervise regional ministry efforts in the United States. This role emphasizes spiritual development, staff leadership, fundraising, and collaboration with churches and volunteers to expand Young Life’s reach for adolescents.

The position requires leadership experience, pastoral alignment with our mission, and the ability to mentor staff across multiple areas.

Qualifications

• Completion of Core Training — Phase One.
• Must be able to supervise at a distance.
• Proven spiritual leader.
• Proven leadership in developing diverse staff and ministries
• Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Has the potential and capacity to function as a regional director.

Responsibilities

• Represent the regional office and uphold Young Life policies.
• Lead spiritual development and prayer within the region.
• Develop yearly personal growth plans for staff and volunteers.
• Recruit, interview, hire and place staff within the region.
• Supervise, develop and evaluate staff and leadership teams.
• Coordinate regional trainings and events.
• Develop and implement fundraising strategies.
• Maintain relationships with churches and communities.
